The annual Prisoners of 2nd Avenue concert will take place at New York’s BB King Blues Club on Friday, January 20. Led by Fab Faux drummer Rich Pagano, Fab Faux guitarist Jimmy Vivino and bassist John Conte, the annual celebration pays tribute to classic Fillmore East bands and other classic blues-rock groups like Cream, Blind Faith, The Rolling Stones, early Who, electric Bob Dylan and many more. Numerous special guests are expected.

The Fab Faux will perform at Queens College this Friday. Pagano will also participate in the 31st Annual John Lennon Tribute at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge on Saturday. The night will also feature: Richard Barone, Ari Hest, Joe Raiola, Steve Forbet, Bettye LaVette, Lucy Kaplansky, Marshall Crenshaw, Glen Burtnick and Toshi Reagon, among others.
