Lucero has signed with ATO Records and will release a new studio album in March. “This record is Lucero doing what we do best,” frontman Ben Nichols said in a statement. “It’s one part barrelhouse Rock & Roll and one part lonesome nights. The thing is, we are having more fun than ever playing both on stage and off and I think that shows on this album.” The album will arrive during the group’s extended ‘Women & Work’ headlining tour. The run will feature such support acts as William Elliott Whitmore, J. Roddy Walston & The Business and others. Lucero will also play a special co-headline show with Built To Spill at Houston, TX’s Fitzgerald’s on March 12. Lucero will perform in Little Rock, AR on December 21.
