The Contribution will come together for a pair of shows this weekend. The jamband supergroup will perform at Boulder, CO’s Boulder Theate tomorrow as part of the the 9th Annual Mark Vann Foundation Holiday Benefit Show. A tribute to the Leftover Salmon banjo player, the night will also feature Great American Taxi & Friends, Bill McKay Band, Andrew McConathy and the Drunken Hearts, and the Banjorchestra. The Contribution will then head to Fort Collins, CO’s Hodi’s Half Note for a show on Saturday night.

This incarnation of The Contribution will feature a slightly different lineup than the version of the band that appears on the group’s album: Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone – Railroad Earth (violin, guitar, vocals), New Monsoon’s Phil Ferlino (keyboards, vocals) and Jeff Miller, String Cheese Incident’s Keith Moseley (bass), Black Swan Singers’ Sheryl Renee (vocals) and Everyone Orchestra’s Matt Butler (drums). The Contribution’s studio album and initial gigs also featured SCI percussionist Jason Hann.
