Rising Ohio-based band The Werks have outlined their 2012 plans. As previously reported, the group will perform at Columbus, OH’s LC Pavilion over New Year’s weekend with Papadosio and numerous special guests. The group will then head into the studio to record their third studio album and launch a ski town tour with Perpetual Groove in Colorado. The Werks will also host an album release party at Covington, KY’s The Madison Theater on, well, April 20.

The band has also announced a venue and date change for their Werk Out Music & Arts Festival. The third annual event will take place over the Fall Equinox in 2012 September 20-23 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio.
