Groveland, FL’s The Bond-fire festival has been cancelled. The festival was slated to run from December 29-January 1, featuring North Mississippi Allstars, George Clinton, Soulive, New Mastersounds, Particle, Rebirth Brass Band and many others. The announcement comes just a few days after the festival’s promoters moved The Bond-fire indoors.

A note from the festival’s promoters reads:

It is our deep regret to inform you all that the festival will be officially canceled.

FULL refunds will be offered, despite the negative comments we are FULLY prepared to refund all money gained from presale tickets. This is not the way we had hoped for things to turn out, and we worked around the clock to prevent such an announcement, however, with the holidays and switching of venues it will not be possible to make this event the success we had hoped for. Full refund information will be provided on after the holidays. We do realize this is an EXTREME disappointment to all music fans and as much a disappointment to ourselves.

Ticketbiscuit has given the go ahead to refund presale tickets. All tickets will be automatically credited back to the card used for the purchase. They said it could be up to 5-7 business days. If you bought your ticket cash, please e-mail [email protected] and you will be given instructions from there. Vendors, please email e-mail [email protected].
