I’ve been a huge RHCP fan for many years. However, I must say that their new album is garbage. I’ve listened to it all the way through now, several times. Barring the return of John Frusciante which will probably never happen, I’d say this is it for them. If they want to go out on top of their artistic game it certainly should be. Flea has so much to offer the world musically, I just think RHCP is now officially holding him back. Frusciante continues to wow me with his solo work, especially his work with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. Flea and John in a “jamband”? Please God yes.
