Miracle Orchestra Alum Joins Max Creek

Max Creek back in November

Longtime Miracle Orchestra bassist Garrett Sayers has long since left Boston and relocated to Colorado where he now performs with The Motet and the Kyle Hollingsworth Band. The group’s drummer has recently taken on a new gig as well. As of January 1, Bill Carbone is occupying the kit for Max Creek, which performed in Hartford at the Arch Street Tavern last night. This was the second consecutive Wednesday in which the band appeared at the venue, and the January 4 performance saw longtime friend Jeff Pevar sit in for the close of the second set during “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “I Want You To Know,” “Speed of The Sound of Loneliness” and “Something Is Forming.”

On January 20 and 21 Max Creek will perform at Waterstreet Music Hall in Rochester, NY.

Love it — Bill Carbone from MO is an awesome drummer and should bring some excellent new lifeblood to Max Creek!

nice to see Bill Carbone get some much deserved kudo’s. He has helped keep the scene around Middletown CT and Wesleyan vibrant for years. His recent gigs with Tim Palmieri (Kung Fu / Breakfast) and Beau Sasser (Uncle Sammy) playing Frank Zappa’s music as a trio have been sweet.
