The Motet Return to San Francisco for Funk is Dead

3 years following their last performance in San Francisco, The Motet will be performing “Funk is Dead,” a tribute to The Grateful Dead at Yoshi’s on February 23rd. The band has worked on reinventing The Dead’s songs by melding in their signature afro-funk groove. Attendees can look forward to a new lineup featuring the addition of 3 accomplished singers and a horn section consisting of Gabe Mervin (trumpet) and Matt Pitts (tenor). The Motet has sold out every “Funk is Dead” to date, don’t sleep on this one. For more information visit Yoshi’s website.
