Brothers Past will release a double album of material spanning the band’s ten-year career, Everything Must Go 0111. This will be the band’s first release since their Jammy-nominated 2005 album This Feeling’s Called Goodbye. According to Brothers Past guitarist Tom Hamilton, the album was recorded in “various studios, basements and bedrooms around the Philadelphia area.”

“This isn’t a concept record, but there is a story,” Hamilton continues. “A lot of these songs are the ones we’ve built our career on and we wanted to bring them to life in the studio. This album is like a Polaroid of Brothers Past at ten years old and it was something that we needed to make.”

“It’s basically us looking forward and backwards at the same time,” adds Brothers Past keyboardist Tom McKee. “It’s a pretty substantial collection of songs. Some of it was written in 2001 and some of it was written in 2010, but it was all recorded as part of the same creative process, so there’s a vibe to it and we want to keep it together as its own thing.”

The album will be released digitally on Hamilton’s Shoots and Boots label on March 27. Physical copies of the album will be available for the first time at CD release parties in Baltimore, MD (3/22), Syracuse, NY (3/23) and Philadelphia, PA (3/24). EMG 0111 was produced and mixed by Hamilton and mastered by Chiller Sound’s Jon Altschiller (Phish, Dave Matthew Band, Ben Folds Five.)
