Warren Haynes and Eric Krasno have joined the lineup for the 12th annual Freaks Ball. As previously reported, the annual celebration of the influential—and certainly entertaining—NYC-Freaks Yahoo! group will take place at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl on January 20 and 21 (marking the first time the Freaks Ball has blossomed into a two-day event).

Friday’s lineup will boast Alaskan psych-rock band Portugal. The Man, a reunion performance by the indie rock act Sam Champion and DJ Cochon De Lait. Meanwhile, Saturday’s show will bring together The Freaks Ball-Stars and a unique band featuring Eric Deutsch, Joe Russo (Furthur, The Duo), Scott Metzger (Wolf!, RANA) and Hagar Ben-Ari (Dap Kings).

Krasno and Haynes are slated to join the Freaks Ball-Stars, a super group featuring Freaks Ball alums Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds), Joe Russo (Furthur, The Duo), Marco Benevento (The Duo) and Ron Johnson (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe). Russo and Haynes will perform together as part of Phil Lesh & Friends next month while Johnson plays bass in Warren Haynes Band. Hip Hop diva Big Freedia will also offer a late night set at the Bowl on Saturday.
