On February 7, New York City’s B.B. King Blues Club will host a celebration in honor of legendary guitarist Cornell Dupree. The evening will pay tribute to the legacy and life of Dupree, who is known his session work with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, Miles Davis and many others in addition to founding his own fusion supergroup Stuff.

For the tribute show, a stellar lineup artists will gather to honor to Dupree, including guitar greats Steve Cropper, John Scofield, Ray Parker Jr., Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar, and Bob Mann. Also featured on the bill are The Gadd Gang, featuring drum master Steve Gadd, Eddie Gomez, Ronnie Cuber, and Leon Pendarvis; Stuff, featuring Gordon Edwards and Jimmy Smith; The Soul Survivors, featuring Jeff Golub, Buddy Williams, and Frank Canino, and special guests Bernard Purdie, Willie Weeks, Randy Brecker, Lenny Pickett, Will Lee, Chris Parker, Steve Ferrone, Paul Shaffer, Vaneese Thomas, Steve Jordan, and more.
