Colorado’s The Motet will take their popular Halloween Funk is Dead show on the road this winter. Like their recent Funk is Dead presentations, these shows will find the groove-oriented band covering the music of the Grateful Dead with the aid of a horn section. The run will kick off with a free show on the base of Snowmass Village during Presidents Weekend and move west for California and Oregon dates. Then in April the ensemble will bring Funk is Dead to the East Coast. The band will also sprinkle in some traditional Motet shows this winter.
