Two days after making their debut appearance on Saturday Night Live, Bon Iver have confirmed a series of US dates. Kicking off in Las Vegas on April 12, these shows will fill in the gaps between the indie-folk group’s previously confirmed appearances at Coachella and JazzFest. While hosting a Bushmills event at the Wooly Bar at New York’s historic Woolworth Building on Thursday night, Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon told Billboard that he turned down an offer to perform at the Grammys this coming weekend when the award show’s producers told him he could only perform if he collaborated with another artist.

“We wanted to play our music, but were told that we couldn’t play. We had to do a collaboration with someone else,” Vernon told the magazine. “And we just felt like it was such a large stage, we’re getting nominated for this record that we made. Me and Brian [Joseph] and a bunch of our fucking friends and we were given accolades for it, and all of a sudden we were being asked to play music that had nothing to do with that. We kind of said ‘fuck you’ a little bit and they sort of acted like they wanted us to play, but I don’t think they wanted us to play.”
