Motet bassist Garrett Sayers will perform at Denver, CO’s Highland Tap this evening. show is part of Sayers’ new weekly residency at the venue. The Garrett Sayers Trio—which also includes keyboardist Patrick Lee and drummer Jonny Jyemo—nod to everything from Radiohead and MMW covers to jazz-funk. As Sayers explains, “this has become my favorite night of the week, and the only night that I get to play whatever I want!” Later this week, the bassist will also perform with DJ Logic and Friends at Denver’s Sherman Street Event Center. Brian Jordan, Wally Ingram, and Pete Wall will also join Logic during the show.
