Gov’t Mule Trio Join Jimmy Vivino

Gov’t Mule members Warren Haynes, Danny Louis and Jorgen Carlsson sat in with Faub Faux guitarist and Conan band director Jimmy Vivino last night. The performance took place during Vivino’s Tuesday residency at Los Angeles’ Molly Malone’s. The three members of Gov’t Mule took the stage during the show’s encore for “Breaking Up Someone’s Home,” “Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad?” and “Evil (Is Going On).” Other performers included onetime Warren Haynes bandmate Jeff Young (keyboard, vocals), Scott Healy (organ), James Wormworth (drums) and Rick Reed (bass). Jimmy Vivino and Friends will return to the club on Tuesday while Haynes will remain in LA until the Grammys this weekend.

Who was playing drums, there’s no mention of Matt Abts?

It was James Wormworth. The drummer from CONAN. He’s great!
