Joe Russo to Join Morning Teleportation at Freaks Night Out

On January 20, members of Portland, OR’s Morning Teleportation sat in with Portugal. The Man at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl during the Freaks Ball. Morning Teleportation will return to the Bowl this evening for a performance of their own as part of a similar event dubbed the Freaks Night Out event.
The West Coast indie rock outfit—who were discovered by Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock and are currently working on a new album in New York—will open for another group of Freaks Ball performers: Erik Deutsch (Fat Mama, Charlie Hunter), Joe Russo (Furthur, The Duo), Scott Metzger (Wolf!), Hagar Ben-Ari (Dap Kings). Both Russo and Nicos Gun member Nick Bockrath will perform with Morning Teleportation during their support set. A video of Morning Teleportation’s recent performance in the Relix boiler room is now available online.
