Original Matisyahu guitarist Aaron Dugan will lead a new quartet at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall this evening. The group features Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz, area drummer/Matisyahu collaborator Mark Guiliana and Matisyahu/Addison Groove Project keyboardist Rob Marscher. The late night show is slated to kick off at 1AM (technically Saturday morning). This will be Dugan’s final New York gig before an extended tour and his first show with Guiliana in over a year. Dugan and Marscher recently tested out a new batch of song sketches with Matisyahu in Rockwood’s larger Stage 2 room.
