Janes Addiction have been added as a headliner for this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival, which is taking place May 25-27 at at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. The announcement came last night when Summer Camp founder and director Ian Goldberg posted the following message to the Summer Camp Facebook Page:

“Hello Summer Campers. This is Ian Goldberg, founder and director of Summer Camp Music Festival. I have to tell you how excited I am to make this announcement. This is one of my all time favorite bands, who not only turned me on to what became the alternative music movement of the 90’s, but also created the music festival that changed my life and is largely responsible for me creating Summer Camp Music Festival. I followed the first Lollapalooza tour around like I was on Dead tour, seeing as many shows as I could. The mix of some of my favorite bands along with a village highlighting many different social and environmental causes showed me that you really can use music as a uniting force to bring people together for positive change. This was largely responsible for my choice to go into the music business, and why I am so proud to now be able to present to you, Creado y Regalo de Los Angeles…Jane’s Addiction!”

Janes addiction will join headliners moe. and Umphrey’s McGee along with additional performers including Pretty Lights, Primus, Weir, Robinson, Greene acoustic trio, Gov’t Mule, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gogol Bordello, G. Love and more. See the full lineup here.
