Bob Weir, Warren Haynes, Chris Robinson, Jackie Greene and More Will Help Phil Lesh Open Terrapin Crossroads

Lesh will perform in a number of different configurations throughout March and April, including gigs with Bob Weir, Jackie Greene, Chris Robinson, Jimmy Herring, Jaz Sawyer, Jeff Chimenti, Larry Campbell, Teresa Williams and Warren Haynes. His sons Grahame Lesh and Brian Lesh will also play a few gigs over the opening run. All shows will take place in the venue’s Grate Room. According to a note of the venue’s homepage, taping is prohibited and select shows will be webcast for $5. Its modeled after Levon Helm’s Midnite Ramble. Same ticket price. Think of all the dirtbags that WON’T be there, its worth the price.

Hmmmm – 3/15 is Phil’s Birthday, and he’s almost ALWAYS done a birthday show. This run isn’t starting until 3/17, though. Stay tuned – I expect another announcement. BTW – for those of you who can’t deal with the $150.00 ticket … quit your bitchin’ & do like us East Coast folks – watch the bargain-priced $5 webcast

fat man has sung February 16, 2012, 16:19:41

living in the paaaaaaaaaaaaaast for $150.00 a pop, rich dirtbags will pay.
Should make the tix an even $500.00 if you ask me

Who wants to watch a show with a bunch of grateful dirtbags, when you can be surrounded by arrogant self absorbed trust fund hippies who could care less about the music and use the show to talk the whole fucking time about the snow in Tahoe and their new Audi 4S. Have fun Phil. I don’t think you’ll make it a year at those prices. And lets be serious, Jimmy Herring, guitar hog extraordinaire, not sure if there will be enough room in the place with all the egos. Take a step back and check why you are here. Music or Money. If its about the money the music is gonna suck and you’ll just be another Grateful Dead cover band, and an overpriced one at that.

Although I live in the midwest and may not ever make it out to these shows I am happy to see the plans and hope to watch some webcasts. Thank you Phil! it looks like a beautiful place and I love the lineups. I am shocked by some of the judgemental and nasty commments that have been left here. What a shame! If some of you don’t like the price, the lineups, or other people in general then just stay home and keep your complaining to yourselves…please.

Neumanfish February 22, 2012, 18:11:47

Ok, lets all just be happy for Phil not playing golf and letting us see this music again. Remember in 73’ the ticket cost was $4.50 and they played 4-6 hour shows. YOU werent alive then so get over it. He has players to pay, the venue, the staff he supports to make the magic. Most of you upset with the pricing are not old school or you would get it. Ok, it is alot. This is last call for this music, maybe three more years tops. I challenge any of you just to stand up for 4 hrs with his base on your shoulder let alone playing it correctly in time. Good luck. What he does is a endurance magic trick each night. I am glad to pay the extra money now to hear this music again. I support them in this last chance to see this live before it is but a CD in your player.

I went to the show on 3/17, and it was worth every penny. There was nobody talking about their audis, just a bunch of deadheads getting stoned and listening to some great music in a very intimate small room.
