Dave Matthews Band Announces 2012 Summer Tour Dates

Dave Matthews Band have announced an extensive North American summer tour, which will pair the band with a handful of notable supporting acts including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Avett Brothers, Delta Spirit, The Head and the Heart, Lettuce, Gary Clark Jr., Tower of Power and more. Following a year of festival performances, this will be the band’s first road tour since 2010. The dates kick off on May 18 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, TX and will carry through until early September. See below for the full tour schedule.

A pre-sale for members of DMB Warehouse Fan Association begins Thursday, February 16, at 10AM ET, with the public on-sale following on Friday, March 9th. Head over to DMB’s website for specific on-sale dates and ticketing info.

As previously reported, Dave Matthews Band recently went into the studio with producer Steve Lillywhite—who produced the band’s first three studio albums—to begin work on a new album. The band has now confirmed the new album, which will be released later this year. Stay tuned for more details.

Smile, what do you hate about hitter fans? Just curious-

confused February 20, 2012, 06:23:58

if you all hate them so much ,why bother commenting. No one cares about your stupid opinions, you aren’t going to get anybody to stop liking DMB by simply spewing your hateful rhetoric

smile, i feel the same way about WSP, been to over 50 shows but so many fans are aggro drunks, that’s why i don’t go to thier shows anymore, i still love thier music and the band, I simply keep it to myself
