A number of special guests will join Galactic during their Mardi Gras shows during Presidents Weekend. The funk group will celebrate Fat Tuesday with shows at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s on Saturday, February 18 and Monday, February 20. In addition to touring guests like Corey Glover (Living Colour) and Corey Henry (of Rebirth Brass Band), the group’s performance on Saturday will feature opener MyNameIsJohnMichael and special guests Big Chief Juan Pardo & The Golden Comanches. Then on Monday, Galactic’s annual Lundi Gras will include appearances by Glover and Henry, as well as David Shaw (The Revivalists), Al “Carnival Time” Johnson and Casa Samba. The Soul Rebels will open the show.
