Rubblebucket have announced the release of a new live DVD/CD entitled Live in Chicago, which will become available starting March 13. Live in Chicago features hits from the band’s critically-acclaimed 2011 release Omega La La, in addition to old favorites such as “Bikes”, “November”, and “Philips Van” from Rubblebucket’s self titled debut.

“This show in Chicago was right in the middle of our longest tour to date- 38 shows in 6 weeks, all continental US regions,” says lead vocalist/baritone saxophonist Kalmia Traver. “We love the Double Door so much and the spirit of Chicago in general, really wonderful people including some family and very close friends. We’ve worked on our live act for years now, and hope that this DVD captures some of that amazing feeling—it’s dedicated to all of our grandparents and any friends who haven’t been able to make it to a show.”

You can check out a clip from the DVD below and then head to Rubblebucket’s official site for pre-order details.

The band will be performing a live Daytrotter Session today in Asheville, NC, which listeners can tune and hear live at 3:30PM EST.
