On Saturday, ALO closed out their 6th Annual Tour d’Amour at The Fillmore in San Francisco. Throughout the evening, the group performed several new songs, many of which will be included on their new album, which is due out in May. During the first set, ALO debuted two new songs, “Speed of Dreams” and “Blew Out the Walls” before inviting up supporting musician Nicki Bluhm for a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “You Make Lovin’ Fun.” Later in the set, former ALO drummer Shree Shyam Das appeared on “I Love Music” along with Ari Gorman (of ALO drummer Dave Brogan’s former band Evil Farmer) on percussion.

In the second set, ALO welcomed The Mother Hips’ Tim Bluhm and Greg Loiacono, The Gramblers Deren Ney and Hot Tuna’s Pete Seers for a cover of the Merle Haggard’s “Workingman’s Blues.” Following the cover, the group debuted another new original, titled “Room for Bloomin’” which featured sit-ins by Scott Rager, Cochrane McMillan and Reed Mathis of Tea Leaf Green and Jans Ingber from The Motet on percussion.

The entire performance was mixed in Quadraphonic Sound.
