From Bonnaroo and Outside Lands to The Great GoogaMooga

Superfly—the people behind Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and Vegoose—will host a food and music festival aimed at foodies this spring. The first annual the Great GoogaMooga will take place at Brooklyn, NY’s Prospect Park on May 19 and 20. According to Grub Street, the event’s name is taken from a fifties D.J. term. The free event will feature 65 food vendors, 35 brewers, 25 winemakers and over a dozen bands. The festival—a partnership with David Rockwell—is expected to announce additional information in the near future.

Now that Superfly has announced this and is selling tickets for Bonnaroo post ticket snafu maybe they can focus on their latenight shows at Jazzfest. You know~ latenight Jazzfest in New Orleans. The latenight events that got them started and made them enough dough to do everything else they have done since.
