Galactic (with Corey Henry of Rebirth Brass Band), Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs and Dr. Michael White & The Original Liberty Jazz Band are among the acts confirmed for the 2nd Annual Fete De La Musique. Billed as an evening of New Orleans and French music & food to benefit the Lycee Francais de la Nouvelle-Orleans Charter School, the multi-band event will take place at New Orleans’ Generations Hall on March 11. Other acts slated to appear include: Helen Gillet, Fleur de Tease Burlesque Troupe, Meschiya Lake and the Little Big Horns and Lorelei Ashe & Amy Tracy of Gravity Defying Fitness. Garland Robinett will serve as the evening’s MC. In addition, the event will feature a full bar and food from local New Orleans restaurants as well as both live and silent auctions. Both $25 GA and $125 VIP ticket options are available.
