New Orleans based guitarist Anders Osborne will release his new album, Black Eye Galaxy, on May 1 via Alligator Records. Recorded at the coveted Dockside Studio in Maurice, LA, the album sees Osborne take on production duties with help from engineer Warren Riker (The Fugees, Lauryn Hill and Santana) and Galactic’s Stanton Moore. Black Eye Galaxy comes as the follow up to Osborne’s 2010 release American Patchwork. According to the release, the album title is a metaphor for Osborne’s often-troubled life as a traveler, a musician, an immigrant, a recovering addict, and as a husband and father.
