The Infamous Stringdusters will release a new studio album, Silver Sky, on March 13 via the band’s own High Country Recordings label. The album takes a new direction with the help of hip-hop producer Billy Hume (Nas, David Banner, Ludacris) and also marks the group’s move to a five-piece band following the departure of founding mandolin player, Jesse Cobb.

“Working with Billy has been simply amazing,” says guitarist Andy Falco.”‘Human Being’ (his Stringduster nickname) has been able to bring out yet another dimension to The Infamous Stringdusters’ music in the studio with his endless creative ideas, outside the box thinking and powerful mixes.”

The Stringdusters will headline an album release tour in March and April, and will make a slew of festival appearances throughout the spring.
