ALO’s next studio album is set for a May 8 release on Brushfire Records. While their last record was recorded with Jack Johnson in Hawaii, ALO remained closer to home for this disc. The band first entered San Francisco’s Mission Bells studio in April 2011. There they were joined by studio owner and longtime collaborator David Simon-Baker for the sessions that eventually yielded Sounds Like This. The ten songs that appear on the album include “Dead Still Dance,” “Cowboys and Chorus Girls” and “Room or Bloomin.” For more on Sounds Like This, check out the video that just posted to Relix.com.
