Umphrey’s McGee made their way through the mountains this past weekend. On Friday night, the group performed at Denver, CO’s Fillmore and welcomed out area staple—and Big Gigantic saxophonist—Dominic Lalli to perform on “Booth Love.” Lalli recently sat in with Umphrey’s McGe during their Mayan Holidaze festival.

During the group’s set, keyboardist Joel Cummins also announced that Umphrey’s McGee would play a two-set show at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 14. Umphrey’s—who have performed at Red Rocks around July 4th over the past few years—will share the bill with Railroad Earth. They will also perform additional club shows in the area.

Last night, Umphrey’s made their way to Salt Lake City, UT’s The Depot and debuted the new original “Through the Cracks” during the first set. The song was reportedly written by guitarist Jake Cinninger. Umphrey’s McGee will perform at Crystal Bay, NV’s Crystal Bay Casino Club this evening.
