Today marks keyboardist JoJo Hermann’s 20th anniversary with Widespread Panic. As the members of Panic have joked over the years, it was not until George McConnell joined the band a decade later that people stopped calling Hermann the band’s “new guy.” In celebration of his 20th anniversary with Panic, Hermann is auctioning off his signed B3 Hammond Organ to benefit the New Orleans Musician’s Clinic. The organ also boasts signatures from several notable organ players who have shared the stage with Hermann, including Gregg Allman, Art Neville, Dr. John, Paul Shaffer and John “Papa” Gros. Over the years, Hermann has raised and donated over $100,000.00 for NOMC’s 2200 patients. His endeavors for NOMC include producing the Down on the Bayou concert series and bringing together national and local acts for several all-night jams. Please click here to bid on the B3 organ.
