The Black Keys, TV On The Radio, Umphrey’s McGee to Perform at the Inaugural Catalpa Festival
The inaugural Catalpa Festival will take place at Randall’s Island in New York City on July 28-29. Performers include The Black Keys, TV On The Radio, Umphrey’s McGee, and Snoop Dogg (who will perform his 1993 debut, Doggystyle, in its entirety). The full lineup, which has yet to be revealed, will feature over 50 artists from a diverse mix of genres. Additional announced acts include City and Colour, The Big Pink, Felix da Housecat, araabMUZIK, and Fort Atlantic.
The festival will also provide a series of art installations, a silent disco tent, bumper cars, and a selection of top quality eateries. One particularly noteworthy inclusion is the High Times Magazine curated Reggae Stage, which will feature The High Times Cannabis Cup Band along with guest artists, DJs, Bob Marley Tributes and some heady Nyabinghi drumming sessions.
