On Friday, Phil Lesh & Friends returned to Lesh’s recently opened venue Terrapin Crossroads. This incarnation of Phil Lesh & Friends featured Grahame Lesh, Jackie Greene, Jeff Chimenti, John Kadlecik and Joe Russo, who performed a series of classic Dead tunes in the venue’s Grate Room. Prior to the second set, Greene performed a short solo piano jam before the rest of the group joined him on stage. Also, before the nightly donor rap, Lesh’s wife Jill carried on a lot tradition by handing out grilled cheese sandwiches to the audience.

Last night, the same lineup of musicians returned to the venue, continuing to celebrate the grand opening of the restaurant/venue. The night once again featured two sets of classic Dead numbers (and covers). The free grilled cheeses also returned.

Lesh performs again at the venue tonight with the lineup of Grahame Lesh, Larry Campbell, Jeff Chimenti, John Kadlecik, Teresa Williams and Joe Russo.
