Two Sides of Umphrey’s

While Umphrey’s McGee is off the road, drummer Kris Myers will flex his jazz muscles during two side shows. On April 2, Myers and his quartet will perform at their old haunt Webster Wine Bar. In addition to Myers on drums, the group features John McLean on guitar, Vijay Telisnayak on keys and Bryan Doherty on bass. Then on Friday, April 6 Myers will head to Milwaukee, WI for a gig at Bad Gene. At that gig, the drummer will play with a trio featuring Doherty on bass and Andrew Tooms on keys. Umphrey’s McGee’s next tour kicks off at Charleston, SC’s Music Farm on April 12.
