A mix of artists will pay tribute to Kraftwerk at Brooklyn, NY’s Littlefield on Tuesday, April 10. Billed as “Krautwerk 1-8 Condensed: Kraftwerk Covered,” the evening will coincide with Kraftwerk’s high profile shows at New York’s MoMA. Artists scheduled to perform at Littlefield during the night include: Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth), Julie Cafritz (Pussy Galore/Free Kitten), Pete Nolan (Magik Markers), Dan Friel (Parts and Labor), Publicist (Sebastian Thomson of Trans Am), Barry London (Oneida), Brittain Ashford (Prairie Empire), Xaddax, Matt Marlin (Pterodactyl), Danny Tamberelli (Jounce), Shonali Bhowmik’s 100 Oaks Revival, Corn Mo, Kurt Braunohler and Dave Hill, among others. This is one of Kim Gordon’s first public appearances since Sonic Youth went on hiatus.
