The Autumn Defense is a Wilco side-project featuring bassist John Stirratt and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Sansone. The group has confirmed a short May tour opening for Nick Lowe, who happened to recently spend time opening for Wilco himself. The group’s opening sets will be acoustic. The Autumn Defense is also working on a new studio album.
