Last night at George’s Majestic in Fayetteville, AR, the Umphrey’s McGee road crew performed Pink Floyd’s “Fearless” during setbreak. Following the first set, the band’s crew, dubbed Finger Tight, took to the stage performing the cover with bassist Ryan Stasik on lights, keyboardist Joel Cummins on monitors and guitarist Jake Cinninger taking over sound engineer duties. Finger Tight consisted of guitar tech Andrew Queen on bass, stage manager Robbie Williams on guitar and vocals, lighting designer Jefferson Waful on keyboards and vocals, front of house engineer Chris Mitchell on percussion and tour manager Bobby Haight on drums. Cummins eluded to the surprise with a tweet earlier in the evening that read, “Got a big surprise for you tonight Fayetteville, I promise it’s not what you think. #umphreys #nofear.”
