Earlier this week, singer/songwriter Daniel Johnston released his first studio album in three years, Space Ducks: Soundtrack. The album comes as the soundtrack to Johnston’s own comic book, Space Ducks: An Infinite Comic Book of Musical Greatness, which he revealed last month at SXSW.
The two part recording is comprised of seven new Johnston originals plus five new Space Ducks inspired songs written by guests including Deer Tick, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Eleanor Friedberger, Fruit Bats and Lavender Diamond. The full tracklist can be seen below.
