A series of guests joined Kung Fu on Monday as part of their weekly ‘Bowl Sessions’ residency at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl. Partway through Kung Fu’s set, Weather Report bassist Victor Bailey joined the band for a take on Weather Report’s “Teen Town” and a cover of Billy Cobham’s “Red Baron,” which also featured drummer Johnny Rabb of opening act BioDiesel. Next, the group welcomed Dopapod drummer Neal “Fro” Evans on Jeff Beck’s “Come Dancing” before bringing up Rabb and Heavy Pets guitarist Jeff Lloyd for Stevie Wonder’s “Black Man.” Rabb helped close out the show, sitting in on closer “Scrabb” and the encore “Bringing Up the Rear.”
