Ronnie Wood’s rendering of The Rolling Stones

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood will play an extremely rare solo show this evening. The performance will take place at Atlantic City, NJ’s The Golden Nugget. His band will feature longtime Rolling Stones keyboardist and musical director Chuck Leavell. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, his band will also include drummer Steve Jordan (Keith Richards’ X-pensive Winos), bassist Willie Weeks (David Bowie, George Harrison, Billy Joel), and singer Bernard Fowler (Herbie Hancock, Rolling Stones). Their setlist will include a mix of Stones and Face numbers and other material.

Wood is in the middle of a promotional junket for his new “Faces, Time and Places” art exhibit as well as The Faces’ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. The guitarist rarely performs under his own name.
