The Black Keys and Dawes Pay Tribute to Levon Helm at Coachella

The second weekend of Indio, CA’s Coachella kicked off on Friday. While some suspected the festival would feature a number of identical setlists from last weekend’s festivities—since both weekend’s features the same lineup—a few artists switched things up to pay tribute to Levon Helm. On Friday, The Black Keys welcomed special guest John Fogerty to the stage to help pay tribute to Helm. Together, they performed a cover of “The Weight” with Auerbach and Fogerty trading off on vocal duties. Elsewhere at the fest, Dawes also paid tribute to Helm with a cover of The Band’s “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” appropriately sung by drummer Griffin Goldsmith.

It never ends! The writing is so sloppy on this site and they never pay attention to any comments about it.

If a few mis-spelled words on a FREE music community page bother you that much you should re-evaluate your life.

To the above poster, I don’t think it’s too much to ask that the site be edited for content. It’s an insult to their readers to continually present content with typos and other mistakes. Whether it’s free or for-pay, it’s called taking pride in one’s work…but I guess you wouldn’t know about that.
