The second weekend of Indio, CA’s Coachella kicked off on Friday. While some suspected the festival would feature a number of identical setlists from last weekend’s festivities—since both weekend’s features the same lineup—a few artists switched things up to pay tribute to Levon Helm. On Friday, The Black Keys welcomed special guest John Fogerty to the stage to help pay tribute to Helm. Together, they performed a cover of “The Weight” with Auerbach and Fogerty trading off on vocal duties. Elsewhere at the fest, Dawes also paid tribute to Helm with a cover of The Band’s “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” appropriately sung by drummer Griffin Goldsmith.
