Phil Lesh Adds Terrapin Crossroads Rambles

Phil Lesh has added another series of shows to Terrapin Crossroads’ schedule. The bassist will now host Rambles at the restaurant/venue from May 17-19. For these Rambles, Lesh’s band will feature Chris Robinson, Furthur/RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, The Mother Hips’ Tim Bluhm, Ryan Adams & the Cardinals pedal steel player Jon Graboff, singer/guitarist Grahame Lesh and drummer Jaz Sawyer. Lesh also plans to host Rambles at Terrapin Crossroads from May 10-13. As previously reported, those shows will boast Robinson, Grahme Lesh, Tim and Nicki Bluhm, Railroad Earth’s John Skehan, Chris Robinson Brotherhood keyboardist Adam MacDougall and Jaz Sawyer. Graboff has now also confirmed that he will join the ensemble from May 11-13.

Lesh will reunite his Phil Lesh Quintet for series of performances beginning this evening.

I’m not sure I know the difference between a “Ramble” and your basic Phil & Friends show at the same place. Will he have an opening act? Will they take requests?
