Keller’s view of the Flecktones

Keller Williams describes himself as “a music lover first, musician second and songwriter third.” So it is no surprise that the multi-instrumentalist makes time to see some live music between his own shows and time with his family. Williams recently caught some music by Bassnectar, Bela Fleck and The Flecktones and Rodrigo y Gabriela and reviewed the three concerts for his blog. Williams describes the Flecktones as “incredibly over my head super complex and inspiring music,” Bassnectar’s sound as “funky, dark and psychedelic that would go right through you” and Rod & Gab’s Gabriela as having “a super cool, percussive style that keeps an intricate beat while playing rhythm.” Williams’ complete reviews can be found on his blog. He will shift from a writer to a performer with a solo set in Macon, Ga today.
