Dr. Dog, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Galactic, Sam Roberts Band, and Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers are among the additions to Grace Potter & The Nocturnals’ Grand Point North Music Festival. Other festival additions include: Heloise & The Savoir Faire, Waylon Speed, Gregory Douglass, Ryan Power, Bob Wagner, Brenda and Bow Thayer, among others. As previously reported, the festival will return to Burlington, VT’s Waterfront Park on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15. The Avett Brothers are also slated to appear at the two-day event.

“We are thrilled about this year’s lineup,” says Potter. “All the main stage bands have history with Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, and each band on the second stage, Heloise & The Savoir Faire, Waylon Speed, Gregory Douglass, Ryan Power, Brenda, Bow Thayer, and Tooth Ache, represents the local gold and our commitment to showcasing the incredible talent across the state of Vermont.”

Potter and her band are currently on the road in advance of their new studio album The Lion The Beast The Beat. The band recently taped an episode of VH1’s Storytellers where they were introduced by Elvis Costello. The band also added Floating Action bassist Michael Libramento to their lineup.
