Last month, John McEuen released The McEuen Sessions: For The All Good on Mesa/Bluemoon Recordings. The founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Tree Band and his two sons Nathan and Jonathan recorded the collection of songs at Tree Sound Studios outside of Atlanta just over a year ago. Tonight the trio returns to Tree Sound for an intimate performance in celebration not only of the release, but of the memorable experience McEuen and sons had producing it at Tree Sound.

“(The) Tree Sound (Experience) was exactly what we needed—to convene for six days to make the musical record of our lives together at this point,” McEuen says. “And now, with the great ease of recording, we made a very ‘personal’ record, which was captured with the great sound Tree Sound are known for. We are headed Saturday to the Grand Ole Opry, a year after recording this album, and then on to Asheville Music Hall for the last date of this current trip on Sunday. Great reviews are coming in, airplay is starting, and a couple dozen shows have been played. Off to a great start!”

If you would like to join in the truly unique and intimate celebration, walkups are welcome or you can purchase an advance ticket here. Doors are at 7PM and there will be a meet-and-greet at 8PM and the show will begin at 9PM. All in attendance will be treated to food and beverages as well. As mentioned above, McEuen and his sons will indeed perform at the Grand Ol’ Opry Saturday night and then the Asheville Music Hall Sunday night.
