Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons will kick off a tour in support of their new studio album Happy Book next week. The band’s outing was slated to open at New York’s Mercury Lounge on May 16. In advance of that show, however, Joseph and company will play an extremely intimate gig at New York’s Cafe Addis on May 15. Joseph used to live in New York’s Harlem area and frequently played shows at like-minded clubs (though the Jackmormons have never played the spot). Fans will need to purchase a ticket to Joseph’s Mercury Lounge show to attend the Addis gig. A limited number of Mercury Lounge tickets will be available at the Cafe Addis door.
