Coachella Sets 2013 Dates

Coachella has confirmed its 2013 dates. The festival will once again be held over two consecutive weekends: April 12-14 and April 19-21, 2013. Both weekends will feature the same roaster of bands. Advance passes go on sale beginning this Thursday, May 17, 2012 10:00 am PDT through the following Thursday, May 24, 2012 10:00 pm PDT. This advance sale will be the only opportunity to take advantage of the Coachella Purchase Plan. According to the festival’s promoters, “new for 2013, the price you see is what you pay — prices reflect all fees included. The general on sale will happen early next year.” Valley Music Travel will also offer VIP travel packages for both weeks.

Honestly though, Coachella’s oearretvd. Out of the 5000 bands I see there, about nine catch my eye, and they’re all spread out across different days. My friend went the year McCartney played and was stoked because Mike Patton was playing too on the side stage the same time as McCartney took the main. I respect that my boy went to the side stage.
