A recent official Lotus music video

Lotus headlined New York’s Irving Plaza on Thursday and Friday. As previously reported, on Thursday the group paid tribute to New York hero MCA with a cover of the Beastie Boy’s “In 3s.” Lotus nodded to the Beastie Boys once again on Saturday when they busted into “Sabrosa” during their second set. The song original appeared on Beastie Boys’ 1994 classic Ill Communication. In addition, Lotus debuted the new song “Let Me In” during their first set. The Philadelphia-based group will perform at Nagoya, JP’s The Bottom Line on May 15.
