Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and The Infamous Stringdusters Will Travel to Mexico For Strings & Sol

Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and The Infamous Stringdusters travel to Tulum, Mexico for the first annual Strings & Sol event this December. Scheduled to take place from December 12-16, the new destination event is produced by Cloud 9 Adventures, the people behind Mayan Holidaze, Jam Cruise, Holy Ship! and Panic en la Playa. Yonder will perform three shows throughout Strings & Sol, while Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and The Infamous Stringdusters will offer two shows apiece.

Strings & Sol will take place at Dreams Tulum, which is located approximately 75 minutes south of Cancun in the Mayan Riviera and 5 minutes from the ancient ruins. The all-inclusive resort also features an on-site spa, gourmet restaurants, beachfront palapas and ocean views. Around 1,000 tickets will be sold to the intimate event. Rooms & 4 Day Event Passes go on sale to the general public beginning May 23 at 12pm EDT.

DrasticJasper, that area of Mexico is quite safe. The areas to avoid are the Texas/Mexico border and Acapulco.

$1000.00 per ticket is too much. I wish that they would sell the ticket for the show separately so that I could stay somewhere more affordable.
