Critically acclaimed author Joseph Williams has used 15 Tea Leaf Green songs as the basis for his new book of short stories In Swinging From Stars. As the band explains, “Williams takes fifteen Tea Leaf Green songs spanning their career and uniquely adapts them into a variety of genres, from Barnyard Romance and Western to Fantasy and Psychological Horror. Fans of the band and newcomers alike will enjoy Williams’ interpretations and deliberate twists of these beloved songs.” The book is available now and will include short stories inspired by Tea Leaf originals like “The Devil’s Pay,” “Truck Stop Sally,” “5000 Acres,” “All Washed Up,” “Arise” and “My Oklahoma Home,” among others. Tea Leaf Green will perform at Oakland, CA’s New Parish this evening.
