Umphrey’s McGee will perform at Gulf Shores, AL’s Hangout Music Festival later today. Though Umphrey’s McGee is off the road after that for a few days, keyboardist Joel Cummins will remain in the area for a late night show at Gulf Shores, AL’s Rythmn and Ribs on Saturday night. Billed as the ‘First Annual Latenight Allstar Show,’ the outdoor jam session will also feature Brian Stoltz (The Funky Meters), Raymond Weber (Dr. John & Dumpstafunk), Grayson Capps and Jo-El Sonnier. A variety of Louisiana food options will also be made available.

Earlier in the day, funks Meters guitarist Brian Stoltz will also make his first appearance in Gulf Shores. Stoltz will perform at Rythmn and Ribs with bassist Kilmo Doome (Shack Daddy’s, Ernest Ranglin) and drummer Boomer Bosarge (Vince Gill, Delbert McClinton).
